If you’ve been to our store, you’ve seen the dramatic black-and-white prints we’ve got displayed throughout the shop. These were snapshots that our staff had taken along one of our favorite rides, combined with famous quotes about cycling and bicycles. We’re now proud to offer these beautiful and striking prints to Bike Crossing Customers.
The prints we have hanging in our shop are 36″ x 36″. We’re able to offer the prints in this original size, a 24″ x 24″ version, and as a more standard 18″ x 18″. Each print comes mounted on stiff and durable “gator board,” and sports a matte finish laminate. See below to order. You can use Paypal through this website, or if you would prefer another method you can Contact The Bike Crossing and talk with one of our experts. We offer various methods of payment and delivery.
Richardson Road Tunnel. Here is stretch of Richardson Road that is one of our favorite in Mississippi. The pavement is too-perfectly framed by overhanging branches. The quote, all-to-appropriate by Christopher Morley, reads:
The bicycle, the bicycle surely, should always be the vehicle of novelists and poets.
Highway 463 & 22. This is the intersection of Mississippi Highways 463 and 22 . . . complete with buckshot and all! The Venerable Ernest Hemingway reminds us that:
It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.
